Privacy Policy
1. Collection of Your Personal Information
There are many aspects of this site which can be viewed without providing personal information. However, to place an order, register an account, or access customer support features, you may be required to submit personally identifiable information. This may include but is not limited to your name, email address, delivery address, phone number, and payment details, or sensitive information in the recovery of a lost password.
If you submit a product review, we may collect your name, email address, review content and star rating. Your name and review text may be displayed publicly; your email address is not published. We may also collect your IP address and browser information to help detect spam and abuse.
If you add items to your cart but do not complete checkout, we may collect your email address (if provided) to send you a reminder about your incomplete order.
If you request a stock notification for an out-of-stock product, we may collect your email address so we can notify you when the item becomes available.
2. Use of Your Personal Information
For each visitor to the site, we collect non-personally identifiable information including but not limited to browser type, version and language, operating system, pages viewed while browsing the site, page access times, and referring website address. This information is used internally to gauge visitor traffic and trends, and to deliver relevant content to you while browsing.
Personal information you provide is used to process and fulfil your order, manage your account, respond to enquiries, and, where you have opted in, send you marketing communications.
From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated purposes not previously disclosed in this policy. If our information practices change, data collected from the time of the policy change forward will adhere to our updated practices.
3. Cookies
If you register an account or log in, we use cookies to keep you logged in and remember your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen option cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out, login cookies are removed.
If you place an order as a guest or leave details in a form, we may use cookies to remember your details for your convenience on a return visit.
We also use cookies required for core store functionality, such as maintaining your shopping cart contents and checkout session.
4. Who We Share Your Data With
We may engage third-party service providers to carry out functions on our behalf. These providers only receive the personal information necessary to perform their function and are required to handle it in accordance with confidentiality and privacy obligations. These categories include:
- Payment processing services, to securely process card payments. We do not store your full card details ourselves.
- Shipping and logistics providers, to fulfil and track delivery of your order.
- Accounting and bookkeeping service providers, to process invoices and payment records.
- International duties and customs compliance providers, for orders shipping outside Australia.
- Website hosting providers, to operate and secure this site.
- Email marketing service providers, where you have opted in to receive marketing communications (you may unsubscribe at any time).
- A third-party avatar service, to display a profile image alongside product reviews, if you have submitted one.
Defence and Customs Compliance
Some products supplied by Ignition Custom Engineering / MANAEL are subject to Australian export control law. Where required for the export or customs clearance of these products, we may disclose relevant order, product, or customer information to the Department of Defence (Defence Export Controls) or to customs clearance agents.
Law Enforcement and Government Bodies
We may disclose personal information to law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, or other government authorities where required or authorised by law.
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
5. International Transfers
For orders shipping internationally, or where a third-party service provider operates offshore, limited order and customer data may be disclosed to that provider outside Australia — for example, for the purpose of calculating customs duties, processing payments, or delivering hosting/email services. Where this occurs, the overseas recipient may not be subject to the Australian Privacy Principles.
6. How Long We Retain Your Data
We may retain order and customer account information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, and as required by law (including tax, business and customs record-keeping obligations, generally five years). Registered users may see, edit, or delete their personal information via their account at any time (except username). Website administrators may also access and edit this information.
Product reviews and their associated data may be retained indefinitely, so we can verify reviews, recognise and approve follow-up reviews from returning customers.
Stock notification requests may be retained until the product becomes available and the notification is sent, or until you unsubscribe.
7. Your Rights
You have a right to access the personal information we hold about you, and to request correction of any inaccurate information, subject to exceptions allowed by law. To do so, please contact us using the details below. You may be required to put your request in writing for security reasons. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for searching for, and providing access to, your information on a per-request basis.
You may also request that we erase personal data we hold about you, except where we are required to retain it for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
You may also request a copy of the personal information we hold about you in a commonly used, exportable format.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including secure hosting and encrypted payment processing through our third-party payment provider.
9. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
